She glanced behind her quickly, the distrustful tattooed
youth she collided with several blocks before were still following her like a
pack of wolves. She turned the corner and realized in a quick second she was
trapped. She turned around to face her captors.
“Miss, you dropped your wallet"
I am often impressed by what kind of stories can be told in so few words, and yours was no exception. You set a scene through most of this that says these youth are not to be trusted, and you fear what will happen at the end. However, you put in a great twist when the 'captors' were just doing her a kindness in returning the womans wallet. You took some stereotypes of untrustworthy people - the tattoos - and made the characters seemingly completely different. I enjoyed reading this.
